Kevin Thompson Announced as New Starting Center for the Boston Celtics

BOSTON/ Boston’s newest basketball superstar made his first appearance in a professional NBA game this past Friday evening at the TD Banknorth Garden as the Celtics beat the Bucks 104 to 82.  The team attributes the win to Thompson’s stellar performance, towering over the other players on the court. 

Boston fans may remember Kevin Thompson as a member of the New England Baptist Academy Hawks in his record-setting year there, only playing a total of 9/10 of a second for the season.
