FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BELOIT, WI: Rock County Christian School will be holding a chapel service commemorating the fifth-ninth annual National Day of Prayer. The event will include messages from local pastors as well as prayer led by RCCS students.
Rock County Christian School would like to invite everyone from surrounding communities to join them as they pray specifically for America. The event will center on its theme verse, Nahum 1:7, “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”
This event will take place at the gazebo in the Horace White Park which is located in downtown Beloit, bordered by East Grand, College, Bushnell, and Park Avenue. In case of rain, the service will take place inside the Rock County Christian School gymnasium, 916 Bushnell Street, Beloit.
Event coordinator Kevin Thompson states “Rock County Christian School wants our community to know that we are praying for them. As we try to navigate our way through a shaky economy, high unemployment rates, struggling families and a political landscape suffering from divisive and contentious rhetoric, we need God’s wisdom. We have set aside this day especially to ask the Lord for His wisdom in tackling these problems. “
