An Interesting Comment from My Pastor

I am a little sad to see my pastor, Bob Bixby of Morning Star Baptist Church, has decided to end his blog.  I have greatly enjoyed reading his thoughts and have been challenged to think a little deeper because of it.  However, I am glad to see that it ending for two reasons – (1) It is good to see someone willing to leave a blog with a rather large following in order to refocus his attention where it is needed most and (2) it good to see someone in “fundamentalism” willing to leave something before absolutely killing it by not knowing when to say good-bye. 

Pastor Bixby’s last posting is well worth your read.  Of course, before he goes, he did leave us with one comment that hit a little close to home…

“I made friends and enemies faster than it takes a PCC grad to sniff out heresy in the NIV.”
