Fundamental Baptist Singles Fellowship - April 26

Dear Friend,

On Saturday, April 26, at 2:00pm, North Baptist Church will hold its annual Fundamental Baptist Singles’ Fellowship.  We would like to encourage you and singles from your church to come and join us.

As a recently married man, it was not that long ago that I recall struggling with my singleness.  I was an independent, fundamental Baptist and committed to my church.  Yet, in my local church there were very few people single and my age.  I faced the temptation that others face, to shop around from church to church till I found the fellowship I lacked.  However, I knew the Lord wanted me in the ministry He placed me in for a reason.  How thankful I was when in the mail I received an invitation from another church of like faith to a singles fellowship they had organized. 

Even know that I am now married, I still emphasize with those who are in the place I once was.  That is why I am excited to invite you and your church to our singles’ fellowship on the 26th.  I pray that you would prayerfully consider coming.

Adult singles of all ages (18 to 118!) are welcome to attend.  Our message is simple - the purpose of the singleness is not merely to find a mate, but to serve the Lord and grow closer to Him.  It is our desire to be a blessing to all those who come, and send you back to your church encouraged and more eager to serve the Lord.
