Homosexuals Vie for Placement in Next Administration
February 22, 2008 by Kevin Thompson
While the media are focusing mainly on the presidential nominees, homosexual groups are striving behind the scenes to achieve positions of leadership in Washington, no matter who wins the election. According to several reports, some of the country’s largest homosexual groups have formed what they call the Presidential Appointments Project . These groups include the Human Rights Campaign, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute, and Stonewall Democrats.
They claim that the Presidential Appointments Project is a “nonpartisan effort designed to help grow the pool of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender professionals who would be qualified and ready to accept politically appointed positions in the next U.S. presidential administration.”
The United States of America, founded in liberty and justice for all, sadly is transforming into justice for the few. The results of gay rights activism can be seen in America through proposed hate crimes legislation, television propaganda, and a gradual breakdown of Biblical morals. Not only is this lifestyle becoming more accepted, but good Christian people in our land are losing rights and being seen as insensitive, controversial, or even illegal for speaking out on this sin. Legislation continually is being proposed that, if placed into effect, would tie the hands of pastors preaching on what God calls sin.
- Pray that God will change the hearts of those caught in this sin.
- Pray that good Christian people will be appointed in the next administration.
- Pray for our cases and for legislation that will strengthen the rights of Christians in America.
